TG1; Sycamore and Leylandii trees situated on bankside between property 36 Beechfield and Bayshore and Royal Pier Hotels (approximately 30 trees) - Fell. Reason: Trees are self-set in an unmanaged area, causing issues for the homeowner and posing problems for the hotels below. Bring the bankside area back into management by removing the larger trees and allowing it to regenerate as coppice, so they can be periodically cut down at ground level when they get too large in the future. Some trees have unstable root conditions, are growing through telecoms cables, interfere with fire escape routes from the hotels below, and come into close contact with kitchen electrical systems, which may pose a future fire risk if left unmanaged. Tree failure on the bankside could block the fire escapes for the hotels below.
