Reason: the tree has succumbed to Sooty Bark Disease which is more virulent and prevalent due to high temperatures caused by climate change, previously crown reduced 2yrs ago ref: DC/24/135597. Duty to replace applies. Informative A: A replacement tree will be required to be planted to reinstate the urban greening and biodiversity benefits the tree provided. Informative B: The tree shows signs of death from Sooty Bark Disease and should be handled using appropriate methods when being felled.
